Renewable Careers in Tampa is expanding its engineering team to support solar, wind and battery storage projects across the Southeast. You will learn from experienced engineers and take on responsibilities from day one, including design reviews, energy estimates and due diligence.

We offer hybrid work from our Tampa office, a structured development path with mentorship, and exposure to the full project lifecycle along three technologies with comprehensive health and retirement benefits.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in electrical, mechanical, civil or environmental engineering.
• Interest in renewable energy and the clean energy transition.
• Strong analytical ability and comfort working with data and spreadsheets.
• Clear written and verbal communication; ability to make technical topics simple.
• Initiative and curiosity: you take ownership, ask good questions and learn quickly.
• Authorization to work in the United States.
• Internship, co-op or project experience in energy is a plus but not required.

Aufgaben

• Supporting engineering design and technical reviews for solar, wind and BESS projects at every stage.
• Preparing energy production estimates, site evaluations and technical due diligence.
• Assisting with interconnection applications and coordination with utilities and grid operators.
• Reviewing technical submittals from EPC contractors, consultants and equipment vendors.
• Supporting construction and commissioning, with travel to project sites across the Southeast.
• Analyzing performance data from our operating fleet and recommending improvements.
• Contributing to the tools, templates and standards our engineering team runs on.
