Job summary

Primoris Renewable Energy is seeking a skilled Cider-Electrician to perform electrical installations, maintenance, and troubleshooting on renewable energy projects. The role emphasizes hands-on electrical work and does not require driving.

Responsibilities include wiring, testing, and maintaining electrical systems in outdoor construction environments, while adhering to NEC and company standards. A Journeyman license and strong safety record are required for this field-based position.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Electrician, preferably in renewable energy
• Valid Journeyman Electrician license or equivalent certification
• Strong understanding of NEC and electrical standards
• Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams
• Experience using testing equipment (multimeters, amp clamps, megohmmeters)
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills
• Commitment to safety and adherence to policies
• Ability to work independently and on a team in outdoor/construction sites
• Physical ability to lift, climb, and work in confined spaces
• Willingness to flexible schedule including overtime/weekends

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems per blueprints, codes, and standards
• Perform conduit bending, wire pulling, terminating, and testing
• Troubleshoot electrical issues with appropriate tools
• Ensure safe, efficient electrical work and compliance with safety policies
• Collaborate with other trades for seamless project execution
• Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance
• Document all work including repairs and inspections
• Interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Maintain a clean, organized work area
• Adapt to various outdoor construction environments
