Job summary

Gardner Energy is hiring a Renewable Energy Electrician Apprentice to support installation, maintenance, and commissioning of solar and battery systems. You will work with licensed electricians, foremen, and field crews to ensure safe, high-quality electrical work and hands-on skill development.

Required: enrollment in an electrical apprenticeship with at least 1 year of experience, knowledge of electrical codes, ability to lift up to 75 pounds, and basic testing tool proficiency.

Qualifications

• Enrollment in an electrical apprenticeship program with at least 1 year of experience.
• Understanding of local and national electrical codes.
• Ability to safely lift up to 75 pounds.
• Experience with hand and power tools; must provide own tools.
• Basic knowledge of electrical testing equipment such as a digital multimeter.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Valid driver's license with clean MVR and ability to operate company vehicles.
• Ability to pass pre-employment and random drug screenings.
• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification preferred.
• Interest in long-term career-growth in electrical and renewable energy.

• Competitive pay: $22.00-$35.00 per hour DOE.
• Expected Schedule M-Th 7AM-5:30PM OR M-F 7AM-3:30PM (Depending on project)
