Job summary

Power Factors is seeking an experienced Implementation Engineer to join our global Professional Services team, responsible for onboarding renewable energy assets (solar PV, wind, and battery storage) onto our Unity APM platform. You’ll own the successful technical delivery: site configuration, data connectivity, validation, and performance accuracy.

Qualifications

• Technical degree or equivalent hands-on experience.
• 3+ years of renewable energy asset concepts experience.
• Comfort interpreting time-series sensor data and identifying anomalies.
• Strong interpersonal and written communication skills.
• Fluency in written and spoken English.
• Analytical mindset with ability to learn new technical domains quickly.
• Direct experience with asset performance management or other energy monitoring platforms.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical delivery of asset onboarding, coordinating with the PS Project Manager on scope and timeline.
• Serve as the technical point of contact for customers during onboarding, translating requirements into the Unity APM platform.
• Establish and troubleshoot data connectivity between sites and the platform, including on-prem HMI/SCADA integrations and cloud APIs.
• Configure asset hierarchy, KPI calculations, and alarm logic per runbooks and best practices.
• Validate signal quality and calculation accuracy through structured site testing and triage data issues.
• Lead customers through user acceptance testing and resolve discrepancies between expected and observed results.
• Contribute to internal process, tooling, and data quality improvements across the implementation lifecycle.
