Job summary

Tyson Foods – Rendering (Cumming, GA) seeks Production Operators for 12-hour night shifts to safely operate rendering equipment and production systems. Responsibilities include handling materials, monitoring quality, and maintaining production flow while meeting safety and customer requirements.

Applicants must have at least 6 months of related hands-on labor experience and be able to obtain PIT/forklift certification.

Qualifications

Must obtain and maintain Powered Industrial Truck (PIT)/forklift certification.
Able to work safely around moving equipment and production processes.
Basic mechanical skills and ability to learn/operate production equipment.
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
Team player with good communication with supervisors and coworkers.
Willing to work in a fast-paced environment with overtime/weekends/holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

Operate, monitor, and adjust rendering equipment and production systems.
Receive, inspect, move, process, store, and load materials and finished products.
Monitor product quality, production flow, and equipment performance; report issues.
Complete routine inspections, basic maintenance tasks, housekeeping, and paperwork.
Learn and perform multiple jobs across the facility to support production goals.
Operate yard truck and PIT equipment to move trailers as assigned.
Perform other duties to support production, safety, quality, and operations.
