Job summary

Tyson Foods is seeking a General Production Worker to assist in processing, screening and packaging products in a fast-paced environment. You will follow GMP and safety procedures, maintain hygiene standards, and participate in rotating positions across departments to meet production goals.

Responsibilities include inspecting products, stacking and boxing to spec weights, and training new hires. The role requires standing for long periods and lifting up to 50 lbs, with a shift of 11:00pm–7:00am

Qualifications

• Must follow GMP operation standards and safety procedures.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and follow directions.
• Must communicate effectively with colleagues and management in a professional manner.
• Must be able to read and understand GMP manuals and related documentation.

Responsibilities

• Inspect product on lines to ensure specifications and quality.
• Stack and package product to maintain accurate counts and weights.
• Assemble and tape boxes and prepare shipments.
• Train new hires and assist in cross-training across corn and flour departments.
• Follow safety, quality, and manufacturing processes and raise concerns when encountered.
