Job summary

LAMP is seeking an experienced maintenance planner to optimize shop floor reliability in Liberty, TX. You will detail work orders, manage the backlog, and publish the weekly maintenance schedule to align with production.

Qualifications include 5+ years in maintenance planning in a process plant, strong CMMS skills, ability to read drawings, and an organized, systematic approach. Turnarounds planning experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Plan work orders in detail, including scope, steps, parts, tools, permits and labor estimates.
• Build and publish the weekly maintenance schedule and coordinate it with production.
• Manage the backlog, prioritize by criticality and keep it visible and current.
• Own the CMMS data quality, including asset hierarchy, bills of material and preventive maintenance frequencies.
• Coordinate spare parts availability with the storeroom and raise reorder points as usage data builds.
• Plan outages and turnarounds, including contractor scope packages.
• Report maintenance metrics covering schedule compliance, wrench time, backlog and preventive maintenance completion.

Position Purpose

Makes maintenance labor productive. Without a planner, technicians spend their day hunting parts and waiting on permits instead of turning wrenches.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan work orders in detail, including scope, steps, parts, tools, permits and labor estimates.
• Build and publish the weekly maintenance schedule and coordinate it with production.
• Manage the backlog, prioritize by criticality and keep it visible and current.
• Own the CMMS data quality, including asset hierarchy, bills of material and preventive maintenance frequencies.
• Coordinate spare parts availability with the storeroom and raise reorder points as usage data builds.

Required Qualifications

• Five or more years of maintenance planning in a process plant, or maintenance craft experience plus planning training.
• Strong CMMS competence.
• Ability to read drawings and build detailed job plans.
• Organized, systematic working style.

Preferred Qualifications

• Craft background in mechanical or instrumentation maintenance.
• Turnaround planning experience.
