• Create a positive and engaging atmosphere that reflects the organization's hospitality standards.
• Handle guest concerns and service recovery situations professionally and promptly.
• Prepare and serve coffee, espresso beverages, teas, smoothies, cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and presentation standards.
• Ensure beverage consistency, quality, and accuracy at all times.
• Verify guest identification and comply with all alcohol service laws and company policies.
• Maintain a clean and organized coffee and bar station throughout the shift.
• Monitor product freshness and rotate inventory appropriately.
• Accurately process guest orders and payments through the point-of-sale (POS) system.
• Maintain cash handling procedures and balance transactions as required.
• Stock and replenish coffee, bar, and service supplies throughout the shift.
• Assist with opening, closing, and side work duties.
• Support banquet, event, or outlet operations as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards for all work areas, equipment, and guest-facing spaces.
• Follow health, food safety, and alcohol service regulations.
• Report equipment issues, maintenance concerns, or safety hazards to management.

Position Overview

The Barista is responsible for delivering an exceptional guest experience by preparing and serving coffee, espresso-based beverages, specialty drinks, cocktails, beer, wine, and other menu offerings in a welcoming and professional manner. This role combines the responsibilities of a barista and bartender, requiring strong beverage knowledge, attention to detail, and a commitment to hospitality. The Barista maintains high standards of cleanliness, service, safety, and product quality while creating meaningful connections with guests and supporting the overall success of the Food & Beverage operation.

Essential Responsibilities

Guest Service

• Greet guests in a friendly, welcoming, and professional manner.


• Provide exceptional service by anticipating guest needs and responding promptly to requests.
