Job summary

The University of Kansas Health System is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Renal/Tele unit at Olathe Hospital. This part-time night position requires strong clinical judgment and teamwork to deliver safe oncology and general medical care.

Qualifications

• Active RN license for Kansas (or compact)
• BSN must be completed within five years of hire
• Nurses hired after Sept 1, 2026 must sign ADN-to-BSN agreement

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive nursing assessments and triage patient care needs.
• Administer chemotherapy, blood components, and other oncology treatments as prescribed.
• Provide direct patient care and education to patients and families.
• Coordinate care with interdisciplinary team and ensure safety and policy compliance.
