Qualifications

• Licensed to practice professional nursing as a registered nurse in Massachusetts by start date.
• Current BLS certification by start date; ACLS may be required for some units.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide timely, safe, patient-centered care.
• Assesses patients and families systematically and documents care data.
• Develops and documents individualized care plans and expected outcomes.
• Educates patients and families about illness, procedures, and treatments; coordinates with care teams.
