Job summary

Saint Joseph Health System is hiring a Multi-skilled Technician to perform basic patient care activities under the supervision of an RN in a 12-hour night shift. The role includes EKGs, Phlebotomy, and assisting with daily living activities to support quality patient care.

Education required is high school level, with English literacy, and CPR certification by hire or within 60 days. EKG and Phlebotomy training completion is expected.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent.
• Ability to read, write, and spell English.
• CPR certification on hire or within 60 days.
• Successful completion of EKG and Phlebotomy courses on hire or transfer.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic patient care activities under the supervision of an RN.
• Take blood glucose measurements and record intake/output.
• Assist with activities of daily living (bathing, grooming, eating).
• Perform EKGs and Phlebotomy as trained and competent.
