Job summary

University Health System in Texas seeks an RN to perform the nursing process in a dialysis clinic, providing direct patient care and monitoring for ESRD patients.

The nurse will mentor staff, serve as a clinical role model, and coordinate care, while receiving guidance from Nurse Staff I–III and the Dialysis Services Director. BSN is highly preferred and current AHA/ACLS/Healthcare Provider cards are required.

Qualifications

• BSN is highly preferred.
• Must have current American Heart Association, Basic Cardiac Life Support and Healthcare Provider card.

Responsibilities

• Perform the nursing process in a safe, therapeutic manner in a designated clinic setting.
• Provide direct patient care (dialysis) and monitoring of renal dialysis patients.
• Oversee direct patient care of the ESRD patient on dialysis.
• Mentor and serve as a clinical role model for all staff.
• Receive mentoring from Nurse Staff I, II, III, and the Director of Dialysis Services.
