Job summary

MAC.BID is hiring a Removal Floater in Robinson Township, PA, to support customer pick-ups during online auctions. The role reports to the Removal Team Lead and involves assisting buyers, guiding item retrieval, and ensuring a smooth pickup experience.

The position requires on-site work, 8-hour shifts, and the ability to lift up to 25 lbs solo (50 lbs with team). Previous customer-service-orientated experience is beneficial in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• On-site availability with 8-hour shifts, Mon-Sat as per location.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs alone and 50 lbs with team.
• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Detail-oriented and highly organized; able to follow written directions.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers in finding their items.
• Explain item locations and help customers retrieve items.
• Encourage bidding by ensuring a positive pickup experience.
• Scan customers in and out for item pick-ups.
• Assist in all stages of customer pick-up as part of the removal process.

JOB TYPE AND CLASSIFICATION: Full-Time Hourly Non-Exempt

JOB OVERVIEW:

MAC.BID buys truckloads of customer returns and overstock products, then sells these items individually to the public through online auctions. The Removal Floater assists in all the stages of customer pick-up. The entire removal team provides every winning bidder with exemplary service. This position reports to the Removal Team Lead.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Know how auction items are categorized on shelves
• Greet and assist customers in finding their items
• Make customers glad they have won an item, to encourage them to continue bidding
• Perform other tasks as assigned by management
• Scan customers in and out for item pick-ups

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Availability to work on-site. Schedules may vary Monday through Saturday, depending on location, 8-hour shifts with a 30-minute lunch break, hours determined by workload and GM
• Must be able to lift 25 pounds alone, 50 pounds with a team lift
• Must be able to follow written directions and company policies
• Must be highly organized
• Must be detail-oriented
• Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent
• Must be customer-focused
