Job summary

MAC.BID in Canton, OH is seeking a Removal Floater to support customer pick-ups and warehouse operations. This full-time hourly role reports to the Removal Team Lead and requires on-site availability.

You will greet customers, help locate items, scan customers in and out, and perform tasks assigned by management. The job emphasizes service during auction pickups and teamwork.

Qualifications

• On-site availability required, schedule includes weekdays and Saturdays.
• Must be able to lift 25 pounds alone, 50 pounds with a team lift.

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

REMOVAL FLOATER

JOB TYPE AND CLASSIFICATION: Full-Time Hourly Non-Exempt

JOB OVERVIEW:

MAC.BID buys truckloads of customer returns and overstock products, then sells these items individually to the public through online auctions. The Removal Floater assists in all the stages of customer pick-up . The entire removal team provides every winning bidder with exemplary service. This position reports to the Removal Team Lead.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Know how auction items are categorized on shelves
• Greet and assist customers in finding their items
• Make customers glad they have won an item, to encourage them to continue bidding
• Perform other tasks as assigned by management
• Scan customers in and out for item pick-ups

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Availability to work on-site. Schedule: Mon, Wed, Fri 9:45am-6:15pm/Tues and Thurs 11:45am-8:15pm
• Must be able to lift 25 pounds alone, 50 pounds with a team lift
• Must be able to follow written directions and company policies
• Must be highly organized
• Must be detail-oriented
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Must be customer-focused
