Job summary

MAC DISCOUNT LLC is seeking a Removal Floater to support the on-site removal team. You will assist customers, guide them to items, and help with checkout and pick-up processes during auctions.

This full-time, hourly non-exempt role requires lifting up to 25 lbs alone and 50 lbs with a team. Shifts run across multiple days, with a lunch break, and potential for varying schedules based on workload.

Qualifications

• Availability to work on-site; schedules may vary Monday through Saturday.
• Must work: Monday/Wednesday/Friday 10:00–18:30; Tuesday/Thursday 12:00–20:30.
• Must be able to lift 25 pounds alone, 50 pounds with a team.
• Follow written directions and company policies.
• Be highly organized and detail-oriented.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must be customer-focused.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers in finding items.
• Know how auction items are categorized on shelves.
• Make customers glad they have won an item to encourage bidding.
• Scan customers in and out for item pick-ups.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by management.

REMOVAL FLOATER

JOB TYPE AND CLASSIFICATION: Full-Time Hourly Non-Exempt

JOB OVERVIEW:

MAC.BID buys truckloads of customer returns and overstock products, then sells these items individually to the public through online auctions. The Removal Floater assists in all the stages of customer pick-up . The entire removal team provides every winning bidder with exemplary service. This position reports to the Removal Team Lead.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Know how auction items are categorized on shelves
• Greet and assist customers in finding their items
• Make customers glad they have won an item, to encourage them to continue bidding
• Perform other tasks as assigned by management
• Scan customers in and out for item pick-ups

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Availability to work on-site. Schedules may vary Monday through Saturday, depending on location, 8-hour shifts with a 30-minute lunch break, hours determined by workload and Management
• Must be able to work: Monday/Wednesday/Friday: 10 AM - 6:30 PM & Tuesday/Thursday: 12:00 PM - 8:30 PM
• Must be able to lift 25 pounds alone, 50 pounds with a team lift
• Must be able to follow written directions and company policies
• Must be highly organized
• Must be detail-oriented
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
