Job summary

Palo Alto Networks is seeking a Staff Professional Services Consultant - XSIAM to lead deployment and optimization of the Cortex XSIAM platform remotely. You will drive tailored automation, correlations, and service offerings for large enterprise deployments.

The role requires deep SIEM/EDR/XDR experience, Linux administration, and strong API integration skills. You will mentor teammates and help shape our professional services portfolio.

Qualifications

• 3 years extensive experience in deploying and managing SIEM platforms, including log parsing, correlation, and strategy.
• Extensive experience in deploying and managing EDR/XDR/Endpoint platforms and agents.
• Experience with Linux systems administration.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python and/or JavaScript for custom integrations and advanced playbook development.
• Advanced understanding of APIs and the ability to integrate XSIAM with a wide range of security tools and infrastructure components.
• Expertise in designing and implementing complex security use cases to streamline security operations.
• Strong foundation in security concepts, frameworks, and compliance standards, with the ability to provide strategic guidance.

Responsibilities

• Lead Advanced Deployments: Manage and execute complex XSIAM platform deployment projects for enterprise clients, ensuring successful implementations tailored to customer requirements.
• Custom Playbook Development: Collaborate with clients to create bespoke playbooks and automation workflows addressing specific security challenges.
• Custom Correlation Development: Collaborate with clients to create custom correlations with log events that achieve security use cases.
• Subject Matter Expertise: Serve as the go-to expert on XSIAM, providing thought leadership to customers and internal teams.
• Technical Troubleshooting: Independently identify root causes of technical issues, develop creative solutions, and ensure smooth project delivery.
• Mentorship and Knowledge Sharing: Guide junior team members, transferring knowledge and fostering professional growth.
• Service Offering Development: Contribute to the creation of methodologies, playbooks, and best practices to enhance the XSIAM Professional Services portfolio.
