TaxAct is hiring a Supervisor, Xpert to lead daily operations in a fast-paced environment. You will train and mentor seasonal credentialed tax professionals, review calculations, and ensure compliance with tax laws within TaxAct software.

You will monitor staff performance, provide ongoing coaching, and support knowledge base updates. Remote work is available across the United States, with emphasis on clear communication and customer advocacy.

Qualifikationen

• 5+ years of federal individual income tax return preparation.
• Valid PTIN and one of the credentials: Enrolled Agent (EA), CPA or practicing tax attorney.
• 2–3 years of call center supervisory experience or equivalent.
• Experience with online tax software.
• Minimum 2 years of Microsoft Office Suite including Teams and SharePoint.
• Proven experience conducting tax research using trustworthy sources.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to multitask.
• Strong problem-solving skills and time management.
• Resilient, team player.
• Willing to obtain a private, dedicated hardwired internet connection.

Aufgaben

• Supervise and coach seasonal tax professionals.
• Provide weekly one-on-one progress coaching with your team.
• Ensure compliance with Circular 230 and applicable tax regulations.
• Monitor agent schedules and queues for performance.
• Perform QA of tax returns and lead interactions.
• Contribute to knowledge base updates based on issues.
• Interview candidates for seasonal roles using guidelines.
• Provide tax advice and customer support per processes.
• Assist with TaxAct product-related questions as needed.
• Escalate issues to management for quick resolution.
