Job summary

MXR Imaging, Inc. is seeking an experienced X-ray Field Service Engineer to perform preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance and troubleshooting of medical imaging equipment.

The role is home office based with limited overnight travel for service and training, and includes on-call coverage after hours. You will install imaging systems, assist with site planning, complete FDA/state paperwork, and manage parts and tickets while maintaining compliance with applicable laws and standards.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Medical Imaging Field Service with proven repair skills.
• Experience with OEM equipment lines such as Carestream, Konica Minolta, GE AMX/OEC, Fuji DR, Canon RadPRO, Del Medical.
• Proficient in troubleshooting, diagnostics and repair.
• Strong customer service and written communication abilities.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain regulatory paperwork and credentials.

Responsibilities

• Provide maintenance, troubleshooting and repairs for medical imaging equipment including x-ray, PACS and networking environments.
• Install imaging equipment, perform site planning, and coordinate with customers and contractors to OEM specs.
• Complete FDA and state paperwork for radiation generating equipment installations.
• Order parts and maintain tickets; track time sheets and expenses.
• Remain compliant with laws, regulations, and standards; participate in on-call coverage as needed.
