5 Star Recruitment is seeking an experienced X-ray Field Service Engineer for a nationwide provider of medical imaging solutions. The role focuses on corrective maintenance, troubleshooting, PM events, and installation of imaging equipment at customer sites.

This position is home office based with limited overnight travel for service and training. The candidate should have 5+ years in medical imaging field service, knowledge of Carestream, Canon RadPRO, Del Medical, Summit/Amrad, and be a US

Qualifications

• 5+ years in the Medical Imaging field service industry with proven knowledge and repair skills.
• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Preferred AA in Electronics.

Responsibilities

• Provide maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs for medical imaging equipment including x-ray, portable units, digital imaging, PACS, networking, C-Arms, Ultrasound and Fluoro systems.
• Install imaging equipment, assist site planning, and coordinate with customers and contractors to meet OEM specs.
• Complete required FDA/state paperwork for installation of radiation-generating equipment.
• Order parts and supplies and maintain service tickets; ensure compliance with regulations.
• Provide on-call coverage after hours on a rotating basis; complete administrative duties like time sheets and expense reports.
