Asure Wound Solutions is seeking a Clinical Specialist, Wound Care Supplies, to join our team. This remote position, based in the New York City area, requires living nearby and willing to drive up to 2 hours for visits.

You will provide wound care expertise in nursing homes and long-term care facilities, develop care plans, and educate staff on best practices. Ideal candidates hold an active nursing license with 3+ years in long-term care and prefer wound care certification.

Qualifikationen

• Active nursing license.
• At least 3 years of nursing experience in nursing homes or long-term care facilities.
• Wound care certification preferred.
• Strong understanding of wound care principles and practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must be comfortable driving distances up to 2 hours.

Aufgaben

• Provide clinical expertise and support to nursing homes and long-term care facilities in wound management.
• Develop and implement wound care plans for residents in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
• Educate and train nursing home staff on wound care techniques, products and equipment usage.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure timely, quality wound care.
• Monitor and document wound progress and adjust care plans as needed.
• Stay current on best wound care practices and new developments.
