Job summary
Asure Wound Solutions is seeking a Clinical Specialist, Wound Care Supplies to join our team. This remote position is based in the Nashua area (you must live in the area) and requires experience working in nursing homes or long-term care facilities as well as a strong background in wound care. The ideal candidate must be comfortable driving distances up to 2 hours away.
Starting salary for this position is $75,000/yr. Benefits include travel reimbursement, paid Holidays, PTO, Health benefits.
Qualifications
- Active nursing license required.
- At least 3 years of nursing experience in nursing homes or long-term care facilities.
- Wound care certification preferred.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Responsibilities
- Provide clinical expertise and support to nursing homes and long-term care facilities in wound management.
- Develop and implement wound care plans for residents with the interdisciplinary team.
- Educate and train nursing home staff on wound care techniques, products and equipment.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure timely wound care delivery.
- Monitor and document wound progress and adjust care plans as needed.
- Stay updated on best practices in wound care.
