Job summary

Function Health is seeking an Operations Manager for Workforce Strategy & Planning to operate and optimize our WFM function during a period of growth. Remote role based in the United States; contract position for a ~6-month engagement with cross-functional collaboration.

You will validate AI-driven forecasts, translate them into staffing plans, manage vendor capacity planning, and co-own the labor cost model with Finance.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in workforce management, capacity planning, or workforce operations.
• Experience scaling support functions in high-growth companies.
• Strong modeling skills and comfort with large datasets.

Responsibilities

• Run demand forecasting and capacity planning using AI model outputs; validate projections and translate forecasts into staffing plans.
• Maintain and adjust staffing models as inputs change; defend outputs.
• Build and distribute weekly schedules; coordinate with team leads on coverage and adjustments.
• Co-own the monthly labor cost model review with Finance and align with product/engineering changes.
