Job summary

Centralus Health is seeking a Remote Workers’ Compensation Specialist to administer the organization’s self-insured WC program. You will ensure regulatory compliance, manage claim costs, and oversee return-to-work processes in collaboration with HR, Safety, Risk, Finance, Legal, TPAs, Brokers, and the NYS WCB.

You will standardize WC processes, coordinate audits, report trends, and provide guidance on injury/illness prevention.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical, financial, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Experience with TPAs, brokers, and external counsel.
• Background in Workers’ Compensation, claims management, or risk management.

Responsibilities

• Oversee self-insured WC program, including filing and managing injury reports.
• Manage WC spend, including claim costs and TPA services.
• Develop and monitor early return-to-work and transitional duty programs.
• Standardize WC processes across units to improve efficiency.
• Coordinate audits with TPAs and ensure proper reserving and strategy alignment.
• Maintain OSHA logs and ensure regulatory reporting compliance.
