Responsibilities include defending claims from evaluation to resolution, reviewing medical records, drafting documents, and engaging in discovery, depositions, and settlements, with strong collaboration

Qualifications

• Must be licensed to practice law in California or awaiting California bar results.
• All experience levels considered, including entry level.
• 1+ year of workers' compensation experience preferred.
• Strong research, writing, organization, and communication skills.
• Interest in representing employers and insurers in workers' compensation matters.

Responsibilities

• Defend California workers' compensation claims from initial evaluation through resolution.
• Review claim files, medical records, and evidence to develop effective case strategies.
• Prepare legal documents, correspondence, and clear client updates.
• Participate in discovery, depositions, hearings, and settlement discussions.
• Work with clients and colleagues to move matters forward efficiently.
