Job summary

Sedgwick, a global leader in risk and claims administration, seeks a Lost-Time Workers’ Compensation Claims Examiner to adjudicate benefits for MD and FL jurisdictions. Hybrid role in Marlton, NJ with remote option if commuting is not possible.

You will analyze claims, determine benefits due, and keep client service standards high. Requirements include a HS diploma or GED, 5 years claims management, FL licensing; a Bachelor's and professional certification are preferred.

Qualifications

• Education & Licensing: High School Diploma or GED required. Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university preferred. Professional certification as applicable to line of business preferred.

Responsibilities

• Analyzing and processing claims through well-developed action plans to reach timely resolution by investigating and gathering information.
• Negotiating settlement of claims within designated authority.
• Communicating claim activity and processing with the claimant and the client.
• Reporting claims to the excess carrier and responding to directions in a professional and timely manner.
