Acrisure is seeking a Workers’ Compensation Claims Examiner for a fully remote position requiring Tennessee residency. You will manage a desk and caseload of workers’ compensation claims from assignment through resolution, ensuring timely, accurate, and compliant handling.

The role involves investigating claims, evaluating liability, maintaining reserves, coordinating with defense counsel, and negotiating settlements.

Qualifications

• Workers’ compensation claims handling experience required.
• Lost time workers’ compensation claims experience beneficial.
• Exposure to litigation management and settlement negotiations beneficial.
• Must reside in Tennessee.

Responsibilities

• Manage a desk and caseload of workers’ compensation claims in a professional manner.
• Investigate claims, including coverage, liability, and exposure analysis.
• Evaluate claim exposure and maintain reserves.
• Coordinate with defense counsel on litigation as needed.
• Evaluate settlements and negotiate resolutions with claimants and attorneys.
• Monitor medical treatment and claim progression.
• Maintain organized claim documentation in the claims system.
• Ensure timely claim payments.
