Job summary

Acrisure seeks a Workers’ Compensation Claims Examiner. This role manages lost time workers’ compensation claims from assignment through resolution, ensuring timely, accurate, and compliant handling.

The position is fully remote, but candidates must reside in Tennessee due to business and compliance requirements. Prior workers’ compensation claims experience is required, with exposure to loss-time claims management beneficial.

Qualifications

• Experience in workers’ compensation claims handling is required.
• Comfort with managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ability to learn new systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage a desk and caseload of workers’ compensation claims efficiently and professionally.
• Investigate claims including coverage, liability, and exposure analysis.
• Evaluate claim exposure and maintain reserves accurately and timely.
• Coordinate with defense counsel and manage litigation activity as needed.
• Evaluate settlements and negotiate resolutions with claimants and attorneys.
• Monitor medical treatment activity and claim progression.
• Maintain organized claim documentation in the claims system.
