Job summary

Sedgwick is seeking a Lost-Time Workers' Compensation Claims Examiner to analyze claims for our valued clients, determine benefits due, and adjudicate within service expectations. This remote role emphasizes accuracy, timely action, and collaboration across teams.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university preferred.
• Experience: 5 years of claims management experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Licensing: Home state plus DE, LA, OK, TX licensing.

Responsibilities

• Analyzing and processing claims through action plans to determine exposure and provide timely resolution.
• Negotiating settlements within designated authority.
• Communicating claim activity and processing with claimants and clients.
• Reporting claims to the excess carrier and responding to directions timely.
