Ideal candidates have 2–4+ years of WC bill review experience, solid CPT/ICD coding knowledge, and familiarity with workers’ compensation fee schedules. Remote work is available with flexible scheduling.

Qualifications

• 2–4+ years of Workers’ Compensation medical bill review experience.
• Working knowledge of CPT and ICD-9/ICD-10 coding.
• Experience interpreting Workers’ Compensation fee schedules.
• Understanding of medical billing and reimbursement practices.

Responsibilities

• Review workers’ compensation medical bills for accuracy and reimbursement.
• Evaluate charges using state fee schedules and guidelines.
• Review procedure and diagnosis codes for accuracy.
• Identify discrepancies and flag items for further review.
• Process bills and related documentation within set turnaround times.
• Maintain accurate claim and billing information in internal systems.
• Communicate with internal teams and providers about discrepancies.
• Ensure compliance with WC requirements and internal procedures.
