Qualifications

• Prior workers’ compensation experience is preferred, but candidates with relevant litigation, employment, insurance defense, or administrative hearing experience are encouraged to apply.
• Strong analytical, writing, legal research, organizational, and communication skills are required.
• Ability to manage multiple matters and deadlines effectively.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to providing responsive, high-quality client service.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
• Active license to practice law in Ohio and in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Represent clients before the Industrial Commission of Ohio and courts.
• Prepare for and attend administrative hearings and court proceedings.
• Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents.
• Review medical records and claim files; communicate with clients.
• Assist with all aspects of case strategy and preparation.
