McDaniel Law Services, LLC is seeking an Attorney to join its Workers’ Compensation Defense practice in Ohio. The role offers opportunities to build substantive experience and work directly with clients as part of a dedicated team.

Candidate must be licensed to practice law in Ohio; prior workers’ compensation or related litigation experience is preferred. Remote work is possible with some in-person hearings as needed.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Active license to practice law in Ohio and in good standing.
• Prior workers’ compensation experience preferred; related litigation or admin hearing experience encouraged.
• Excellent analytical, writing, research, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple matters and deadlines effectively.
• Strong interpersonal skills and teamwork in a client-focused environment.

Responsibilities

• Handle a variety of workers’ compensation defense matters before the Industrial Commission of Ohio and courts.
• Prepare for and attend administrative hearings and court proceedings; draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other documents.
• Review medical records and claim files; communicate with clients and adjusters.
• Develop litigation plans and budgets; manage an assigned caseload.
• Contribute to case strategy and preparation with the team.
