Sedgwick seeks a Claims Examiner - Workers' Compensation to adjudicate complex claims for our clients, with location flexibility and a supportive culture.

The ideal candidate will analyze claims, negotiate settlements, and communicate with claimants and clients, while ensuring timely adjudication per client requirements and industry practices. OR licensing is required with OR certification preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 5 years of claims management experience or equivalent.
• Licensing/Jurisdiction knowledge: OR

Responsibilities

• Analyzing and processing claims to determine exposure and resolution.
• Negotiating settlement within designated authority.
• Communicating claim activity with the claimant and the client.
• Reporting claims to the excess carrier and responding to directions in a professional and timely manner.
