Job summary

Sedgwick is hiring a Worker’s Compensation Claims Examiner with Georgia jurisdiction experience. You will analyze GA Lost-Time claims to determine benefits due, ensuring ongoing adjudication within service expectations and client requirements.

Responsibilities include analyzing and processing claims, negotiating settlements, and communicating with claimants and clients, while leveraging Sedgwick's network and offering flexible work arrangements and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 3–5 years of claims management experience or equivalent.
• GA jurisdiction required; other states preferred.
• Valid Worker's Compensation license reciprocal with multiple jurisdictions.

Responsibilities

• Analyze Georgia Lost-Time claims to determine benefits and adjudicate within client requirements.
• Negotiate settlements within designated authority.
• Communicate claim activity with claimants and clients.
• Report claims to the excess carrier and respond to directions promptly.
