Job summary

Pérez Law, PC is seeking a dedicated Workers' Compensation Applicant Attorney to join our team in California. You will manage a caseload of workers' compensation matters and advocate for injured workers with ethical, client-centered representation.

The ideal candidate has a Juris Doctor and CA Bar admission, strong research and writing skills, and the ability to work independently or with a team in a fast-paced setting. Flexible work-from-home options are available.

Qualifications

JD from an accredited law school.
Admission to the California State Bar in good standing.
Experience in workers' compensation is preferred but not required; new graduates welcome.
Strong legal research and writing skills.
Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

Represent clients in all aspects of workers' compensation claims, including hearings and settlements.
Prepare and submit legal documents.
Communicate with clients, insurance companies, medical providers, and other parties.
Oversee case management tasks with support staff.
Review medical records and reports to build strong cases.
Maintain client contact and provide updates throughout the case lifecycle.
Participate in settlement negotiations and mediations when appropriate.
Maintain compliance with firm policies and California regulations.
