Job summary

Wipfli LLP is seeking a Workday Quality Assurance Lead to guide end-to-end QA across Workday implementations, upgrades, and enhancements. You will define test strategy, plans and frameworks, and oversee risk assessment, defect management, and QA metrics.

The role offers flexibility to work in person, remotely, or in a hybrid environment, with exposure to HCM, Finance, Payroll, Time Tracking and related integrations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, Accounting, Finance or equivalent.
• 5+ years of quality assurance experience, including 3+ years supporting Workday implementations.
• Deep understanding of Workday processes and configurations.
• Experience with test management tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps and automating Workday testing.
• Strong experience in functional and end-to-end testing methodologies.
• Hands-on UAT planning, defect management, QA metrics and reporting.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.
• Ability to balance business value, risk, effort and user impact.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage end-to-end QA strategy for Workday implementation, upgrades and enhancements.
• Define and execute test plans, strategies and frameworks; support risk assessment and mitigation.
• Oversee functional, integration, regression and UAT testing cycles.
• Ensure testing alignment across Workday modules (HCM, Finance, Payroll, Time Tracking and integrations).
• Manage defect lifecycle including identification, prioritization, tracking and resolution.
• Drive test data preparation, environment coordination and release validation.
• Coordinate with business stakeholders for UAT readiness and sign-off.
• Collaborate with developers, analysts, system integrators and vendors; ensure QA governance.
