Job summary

Zoom is seeking a Workday Extend Developer to join our Enterprise Applications team. You will design and build integrations and Extend apps for the global workforce, partnering with People Experience and IT to support the HCM ecosystem.

This is a fully remote role open to US-based candidates, with preferred alignment to Pacific or Mountain time zones. You will lead integration efforts, craft detailed specs, and leverage Orchestrate, EIB, Core Connectors, and Workday Studio to deliver scalable

Qualifications

• Proven success delivering end-to-end, medium to large-scale Workday integrations and Extend implementations.
• 7+ years of Workday experience (certification preferred), including 3+ years building Workday Extend apps.
• 4+ years developing Workday integrations using Orchestrate, EIB, Core Connectors, Cloud Connect, Document Transforms, and Workday Studio.
• Solid knowledge of Workday functional areas (HCM, Payroll, Benefits, Talent, Absence Management) and security.
• Proficiency in web service integrations (SOAP, REST, WSDL, XML); Python/JavaScript a plus.
• Comfort with agile or iterative development; Bachelor's in CS/CI or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop custom Workday Extend solutions that address business needs and elevate the employee experience.
• Lead integration efforts as the technical liaison, authoring specifications, field mappings, and designs for global deployment lifecycles.
• Apply software engineering depth across Workday HCM, Expense, Benefits, Compensation, Payroll, Talent, and Absence Management with focus on quality.
• Define requirements, provide effort estimates, and build solutions using the Workday Integration Toolkit (Orchestrate, Core Connectors, EIB, Document Transforms, Studio).
• Drive continuous improvement through analysis, design, implementation, testing, and iterative refinement.
