Job summary

Zeiders Enterprises, Inc. is seeking a Work and Family Life Specialist (Remote) to provide remote and on-site support for Navy FFSP programs.

You will conduct workshops, deliver one-on-one consultations, and coordinate education services for service members and their families worldwide, including shipboard events. The role requires experience in presentations, virtual training, and strong communication, with the ability to travel for periodical in-person support and manage multiple priorities

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in social science or related field OR four years' equivalent experience.
• Experience making presentations and facilitating training for large and small groups in person and online.
• Experience using digital tech to facilitate virtual training.
• Knowledge of FFSP programs and related areas: deployment, relocation, life skills, transition, employment readiness.
• Strong technical acumen: set up PC/AV equipment, use tools to support virtual delivery (Outlook/Teams)
• Knowledge of needs assessment tools (surveys) and adult education principles.
• Knowledge of military lifestyle and social services resources.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and communicate clearly (oral and written).
• Able to meet naval shipboard requirements when deployed.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-person and virtual workshops for service members and families.
• Provide one-on-one consultations across FFSP areas.
• Offer location-specific information and referral services, in-person or virtually.
• Provide support for disaster preparedness or crisis events worldwide.
• Assist aboard Navy ships for events and R&R.
• Enter all services into the government's system of record.
• Utilize collaboration platforms and video conferencing to deliver services.
• Cross-train for additional program areas as needed.
• Support marketing and outreach to promote program awareness.
