Rankings.io, a remote digital marketing agency, seeks a Senior Developer to lead full-stack WordPress projects for law firm clients. You will own complex technical problems, ensure on-time delivery, and act as the technical right hand to the Director of Development.

Responsibilities include building custom WP sites, auditing code, mentoring peers, and staying ahead with AI-driven workflows while maintaining performance and security. Fully remote with a strong culture of growth.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on WordPress development experience.
• Expert-level full-stack development with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, WordPress, and Git.
• Strong understanding of WordPress architecture, Gutenberg, APIs, databases, and hosting/deployment.
• Agency or multi-client experience preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to solve complex technical problems independently.

Responsibilities

• Build custom, responsive WordPress websites with core WP architecture and custom themes/plugins.
• Audit client sites to identify issues, dependencies, risks before development.
• Develop reusable themes, plugins, Gutenberg blocks, and components.
• Mentor other developers and raise development standards.
• Translate designs (Figma) into pixel-perfect web experiences.
• Stay current with AI-assisted development to improve efficiency and outcomes.
• Own and prioritize work within agency timelines and communicate blockers early.
