Insight Therapy Solutions is seeking a skilled Freelance WordPress Developer to support and enhance its healthcare website. The role involves WordPress development, security, and HIPAA-conscious handling of data on a remote, project-based basis.

You will maintain core, themes, and plugins, build custom pages and integrations, and ensure secure, compliant operations while collaborating with a mission-driven team in a flexible schedule aligned to Pacific Time.

Qualifications

• Proven experience developing and maintaining WordPress websites.
• Experience building custom WordPress features and third-party integrations.
• Strong understanding of WordPress security and website performance optimization.
• Familiarity with healthcare websites and privacy-conscious development practices.

Responsibilities

• Fix website bugs, layout issues, and performance problems.
• Maintain and update WordPress core, themes, and plugins.
• Build custom pages, forms, workflows, and integrations.
• Develop and maintain REST API and third-party integrations.
• Configure website forms, booking tools, CRM connections, and approved marketing tools.
• Apply WordPress security best practices, including backups, SSL, malware protection, and user access management.
• Ensure healthcare privacy and HIPAA-aware handling of sensitive website data.
• Document major website updates, fixes, and technical recommendations.
