Job summary

MontyCloud is seeking a part-time contractor to keep our WordPress site secure and current while refreshing the look and feel of our pages. This is a light-touch, remote engagement with an ongoing, predictable monthly commitment (roughly 1–2 hours per week, scaling for design projects as needed).

You'll own WordPress security and maintenance, design modernization, and visual design for sales and marketing assets, reporting to the MontyCloud marketing team.

Qualifications

• Hands-on WordPress experience, including confidently managing plugin and theme updates and site security.
• A strong design eye for modern web layouts and clean presentation design.
• Comfort working independently on a small, predictable set of recurring tasks.
• Clear communication and reliable turnaround.
• Nice to have: Experience with WordPress and basic HTML and CSS.
• Nice to have: Familiarity with B2B or technology brands.

Responsibilities

• WordPress security and maintenance: update plugins/themes/core, test to ensure nothing breaks.
• WordPress design and modernization: design and build new pages, refresh existing ones, improve layout and responsiveness, ensure brand consistency.
• Design visuals: create ads and 3D environmental design if applicable.
