Description

A remote Wire Harness Design Engineer position is available at Belcan. This is a full-time, direct role with benefits. Candidates should have a bachelor's degree and at least 3 years of engineering experience or an equivalent degree and experience combination.

Wiring Design Engineer Job Duties

• Develop and maintain electrical wire harness detail, assembly, and installation designs in an aerospace environment, integrating system requirements into an efficient wire harness architecture.
• Follow and improve documented processes, specifications, and procedures supporting safe and quality electrical design and manufacturing.
• Travel up to 25% or less.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in an engineering field or equivalent work experience.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen.
• Experience with electrical harness design using Siemens (Mentor Graphics) Capital Logic software.
• Ability to interpret engineering requirements and work with multidisciplinary teams.
• Effective communication skills and time management.
• Experience in aerospace, automotive, or industrial sectors preferred but not required.

Preferred Skills

• Analysis skills for issue resolution.
• 3+ years using wire design tools like Siemens Capital Logic, Zuken E3, CADAM.
• Familiarity with NX, aerospace wiring standards, GD&T, ASME Y14.100, SAE AS50881, and ITAR compliance.
