Job summary

Bright Vision Technologies is seeking an experienced Windchill Integration Engineer to design, build, and operate integrations connecting Windchill with ERP, MES, CAD, and other systems. You will own the technical integration layer between Windchill and the broader enterprise systems landscape, mentoring engineers and ensuring durable, scalable solutions.

The ideal candidate has 6+ years in PLM integration with hands-on Windchill, Info*Engine, and Windchill Java API experience, plus ERP

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
5+ years of PLM integration experience with a strong focus on Windchill.
Hands-on experience with Info*Engine and Windchill Java API.
Experience designing PLM-to-ERP integrations (SAP, Oracle).
Working knowledge of CAD integration patterns.
Experience with middleware platforms such as MuleSoft, Boomi, OIC, or SAP CPI.
Strong SQL skills and familiarity with Windchill data model.
Experience with REST and SOAP web services.
Excellent troubleshooting and documentation skills.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

Design and develop integrations between Windchill and ERP systems (SAP, Oracle EBS, Oracle Cloud) using Info*Engine, web services, and middleware platforms.
Build CAD integrations for Creo, SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Catia, and NX with Windchill, including check-in/check-out workflows and metadata mapping.
Develop integrations between Windchill and MES, MOM, and quality systems.
Build REST and SOAP services for Windchill data using OData, Info*Engine, or custom Java services.
Implement message-based and event-driven integrations using middleware (MuleSoft, Boomi, OIC, SAP CPI).
Design and operate robust error-handling, alerting, and resubmission patterns, with durable, well-documented outcomes.
Profile and optimize performance of high-volume integrations for throughput and latency gains.
Lead migration efforts to middleware-mediated patterns with phased cutovers and reversibility.
Collaborate with PLM, ERP, and CAD teams to align integrations with business processes.
Develop integration documentation, message specifications, and runbooks.
Provide hands-on post-go-live support, triage incidents, identify root causes, and drive durable fixes.
Mentor and coach junior and mid-level engineers through code review and pair programming.
Continuously evaluate emerging integration tools and patterns and make grounded recommendations.
