Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking a Project Manager to lead Major Component Upgrade and Blade projects across North America. You will own planning, execution, safety, quality, schedule, and cost, serving as the primary liaison with customers, field teams, subcontractors, and suppliers.

The role requires strong leadership, sound business judgment, and the ability to make quick decisions in dynamic field environments. A technical degree and wind-energy or heavy-industry experience are essential, along with

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related discipline, or equivalent field experience.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in wind energy, industrial construction, heavy lift operations, or related industries.
• Experience managing Major Component Upgrades, Blade projects, or similar large-scale field operations.
• Working knowledge of crane operations, lift planning, rigging practices, and site logistics.
• Experience supporting projects within prevailing wage environments.
• Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end execution of MCU and Blade projects.
• Develop detailed execution plans aligned with customer requirements and constraints.
• Lead project kickoff meetings and set expectations with field teams.
• Monitor progress and proactively manage risks, issues, and recovery plans.
• Drive execution through reviews and milestone-based assessments.
• Ensure projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to quality standards.
• Develop and maintain project budgets, forecasts, and cost controls.
• Lead customer status meetings and manage expectations.
• Coordinate subcontractors, crane providers, logistics vendors, and equipment suppliers.
