Job summary

VC Stack is seeking a Corporate Venture Capital Principal to manage startup investments remotely from the west coast. This role includes developing relationships with investors and startups to drive post-deal value creation, focusing on innovative technologies across multiple domains.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree, at least 6 years of relevant experience, and a passion for technology-based startups, preferably with a network in national security technologies. Salary range is $160,001 to $200,000.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 years of experience in technology or product roles.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen residing in the San Francisco Bay or LA area.
• Experience in a VC, CVC, or Startup in a business/product role or transaction role.
• Strong network in commercial technology or national security (triple bonus).

Responsibilities

• Focal point for west-coast based VC, CVC, and startup relationships.
• Develop tech-focused market maps based on ecosystem insights.
• Culivate investment opportunities with co-investors and startups.
• Coordinate business diligence and finalize investment business case.
• Act as a trusted advisor for portfolio companies and develop reports.
