Job summary

FMX is seeking a Mid-Market Account Executive to drive growth in the Higher Education sector from a remote-first stance. You’ll own a West Coast territory and collaborate with SDRs while independently building pipeline and guiding customers from problem identification to becoming FMX customers.

You’ll close deals in a multi-state environment, leverage MEDDPICC/Sandler/Challenger-like methods, and travel as needed to manage complex cycles with multiple stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in a closing or selling role; Higher Education is preferred.
• Experience in a remote sales environment.
• Ability to manage complex sales cycles with multiple stakeholders.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage a territory in the Higher Education segment (colleges, universities, community colleges).
• Meet and exceed quarterly and annual new business targets.
• Build relationships with potential clients and analyze their challenges to show how FMX helps.
• Progress prospects through the buyer's journey; host platform demos and negotiate contracts.
• Utilize Salesforce, Gong, and other FMX tools to manage opportunities and data.
