Job summary

Remote Recruitment is hiring a Web Designer and WordPress Developer for a UK digital marketing agency, fully remote from South Africa. You will own projects from brief to live launch, with full responsibility for design and build. Portfolio required and 3+ years WP + design experience are essential.

The role is full-time, UK business hours, and offers long-term permanent placement with remote work from SA.

Qualifications

Live online portfolio showing full project lifecycle.
Minimum three years' professional experience in web design and WordPress development, with advanced Elementor Pro.
Strong working knowledge of HTML and CSS, responsive design and UI/UX principles.
Experience with WooCommerce, JetEngine (Crocoblock) and Advanced Custom Fields.
Practical hosting, DNS and site migrations experience, plus reliable internet and workspace.

Responsibilities

Translate client briefs into modern website concepts and visual designs.
Build, customise and maintain WordPress websites using Elementor Pro, including WooCommerce builds.
Implement custom functionality with JetEngine (Crocoblock) and Advanced Custom Fields.
Handle migrations, hosting and DNS configuration, keeping sites secure and up to date.
Optimise speed and SEO best practices during development.
