Job summary

Edgewater Federal Solutions is seeking a talented Web Application Developer to join a proficient development team supporting the Department of Energy in a remote work environment. Candidate will develop and enhance web applications. Experience with Angular, Java, Ext JS is REQUIRED.

This position requires US Citizenship. Responsibilities include UI/UX and back-end development in a J2SE/J2EE environment, with ongoing work on new Angular modules and legacy Ext JS code.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizenship is required per contract to obtain and maintain DOE clearance; Top Secret or higher preferred.
• 5–7 years of related experience.
• UI/UX design experience with page layouts, screen/form mock-ups, and wireframes.
• Proficient in Angular, Bootstrap, HTML/JavaScript, CSS, Servlets, Java, AJAX, XML, Spring, JSP, Oracle SQL/PLSQL.
• Experience with RESTful and SOAP web services (WSDL, XML, JSON).
• Experience with Oracle WebLogic/J2EE, Oracle RDBMS; Git; IDEs (VSCode, VS, Eclipse).
• Ext JS 3.x/4.x is a plus; Jasper iReport a plus.
• Ability to translate requirements into design and develop applications; strong analytical skills.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Work on both new development (Angular) and legacy work (Ext JS).
• Collaborate with team to standardize design, structure, and development processes.
