Job summary

Edgewater Federal Solutions is seeking a Web Application Developer to join a development team supporting the Department of Energy in a remote work environment. The candidate will develop and enhance web applications using Angular and related technologies, with Ext JS in legacy work.

US citizenship is required for clearance; the role demands strong UI/UX design, Java/J2EE back-end work, and collaboration within a fast-paced federal contracting setting.

Qualifications

• US citizenship required for DoE clearance; Top Secret/Q clearance preferred.
• 5–7 years of related experience.
• UI/UX design, page layouts, screen/form mockups and wireframes required.
• Expertise in transactional web apps (UI/UX and web services) with Angular, Bootstrap, HTML/JS, CSS, Servlets, Java, AJAX, XML, Spring, JSP, Oracle SQL/PLSQL.
• Experience developing RESTful and SOAP Web Services (WSDL, XML, JSON).
• Proficiency with Oracle WebLogic/J2EE and Oracle RDBMS.
• GIT version control; IDEs such as VSCode, Visual Studio, Eclipse.
• Ext JS 3.x/4.x a plus; Jasper iReport a plus.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• UI/UX and back-end web app development in a J2SE/J2EE environment with a team.
• Work on new Angular-based features and legacy Ext JS modules.
• Translate requirements into design and implement applications.
