AE2S in Maple Grove MN seeks a Water Resources Senior Project Engineer / Project Manager to lead municipal water resources projects and support business development. You will perform analysis and design of floodplain and drainage systems, coordinate project teams, and maintain client relationships across AE2S geographies.

Minimum 10 years of experience and PE license required; candidates must travel as needed. This role offers strong growth opportunities within a respected civil engineering firm.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related field.
• 10+ years of water resources engineering experience.
• Professional Engineer license in Minnesota or ability to obtain within 6 months.
• Experience with AutoCAD and ArcGIS software.
• Strong communication and ability to manage remote projects.

Responsibilities

• Perform floodplain and stormwater analysis using XP/SWMM, HydroCAD, HEC-RAS.
• Deliver planning, design, and construction administration for water resources projects.
• Review stormwater plans submitted to municipalities.
• Lead tasks or small projects and guide project teams.
• Support business development and maintain client relationships.
• Coordinate meetings and manage budgets and schedules.
