Job summary

AE2S in Maple Grove, MN or Woodbury, MN seeks a Wastewater Project Engineer to join a nationally recognized team delivering municipal water and wastewater infrastructure projects, including planning, design, and construction administration.

You’ll work with experienced engineers on design, analysis, and delivery, collaborate across disciplines, and contribute to client relationships and business development while upholding AE2S's culture and values.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related field.
• PE license preferred or ability to obtain within 3 months.
• 6+ years of municipal civil engineering experience.
• Ability to travel as required for business development and project responsibilities.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional services for wastewater engineering projects including design, plans, specs, reports, budgets, scope of work, permits, contracts, schedules.
• Design and construct wastewater collection systems and treatment facilities.
• Collaborate on multi-discipline projects with civil, electrical, and architectural elements.
• Identify, evaluate, pursue, and manage project opportunities.
• Provide quality control and quality assurance on all project work.
• Coordinate, facilitate, and attend internal and external meetings.
• Mentor junior engineers, technicians, and other team members.
